Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shubharthi kar

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shubharthi kar wants to present his 16 years of USA-earned medical and neurological knowledge and skills for serving the people of Bangladesh. Although he is a New York State Board for Medicine licensed, Dr. Wahid has joined Square Hospital as a Consultant, Neurology.Dr. Wahid graduated from Rajshahi Medical College and completed DA from Dhaka Medical College. He secured his degree (MD) from Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), USA. He completed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), USA from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, Long Island, New York.Dr. Wahid underwent a neurology residency program at Desert Regional Medical Center, Palm Springs, California. He fulfilled his first Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology from the University of Kansas Medical Center, after which he carried out another Fellowship in Movement Disorder at Northwell Health University Medical Center, New York, USA. He worked at New York Medical and Diagnostic Center and Broadway Medical Center, in Queens, New York. He has extensive experience in DBS programming for Parkinson’s disease and essential tremors. He is skilled in EMG-guided BoNT Therapy, dystonia, EEG, EMG/NCS, and Botox for chronic migraine, etc. Dr. Wahid has extensive experience in managing a wide variety of acute and chronic neurological conditions. He aims to build Comprehensive  Care for Parkinson’s disease  Patients.
